i saw Him—who is like dark rain cloud standing with sreedEvi and BoodEvi on either side—in Sempon Sei kOyil which lies in the middle of tiru nAngoor. He is called pEraruLALan since He gives boon to all who worship Him. He is worshipped by all the people and i too worshipped Him and found my life purposeful.

BagavAn is—beyond all changes like birth, growth, old age, death, etc. exists as an ocean of Ananda (not like AtmAnanda which is conditioned); exists in three kAlas past, present and future; very enjoyable like the notes of music; is the subject matter and meaning of vEdas; is the chief of the nitya sooris and—worshipped by the vaidikas of Sempon Sei kOyil.

AzhwAr says he saw emberumAn, the kaDal nira vaNNam in Sempon Sei kOyil where live brAhmaNas who are like brahma. (They have the capacity to create but don’t execute their powers). He is the antaryAmi to the five Bootas, the sun and the moon and all other objects—sentient and insentient in this world. He resides in Sempon Sei kOyil where AzhwAr worshipped Him.

He is the peerless vAmana who measured the worlds with His feet. He is the sarvaswAmi who is worshipped by nityasooris—the ever young dEvas—in tiruppArkaDal. He is the one who is worshipped by the vaidikas—who are like brahma in their knowledge and tapas—in Sempon Sei kOyil where He is seen wearing a precious-gem-studded crown.

He is Sree rAma, the son of daSaratha, who takes pity and fulfills the wishes of those who go to Him and praise ‘Oh! emberumAn! You destroy the evil minded rAkShasas in order to protect dharma’. He takes compassion like a mother to her pleading children. He is the father of pradyumna (manmatha avatAra) who resides in Sempon Sei koyil where there are flowering tress full of honey and where there is always the sound of ‘pallANDu’ heard.

Sree rAma was happy that He built a bridge across the roaring sea with huge boulders to cross over to lankApuri. He destroyed that city which was well protected by forts and built on a mountain (trikooTa mountains). He resides in Sempon Sei kOyil where vaidikas consider vEdas as their only wealth and where emberumAn reveals His soulaBya with periya pirATTi near Him. He has removed my duhKa of samsAra as soon as i saw Him—says AzhwAr.

He is a kALai who with anger killed the angry wild elephant kuvaLayApeeDa, broke the great bow, crushed the powerful wrestlers. He is the ammAn of the colours of a dark cloud, who in Sempon Sei kOyil where the vaidikas who never fail to chant vEdas reside. i worshipped this emberumAn who looks like an anjana mountain and got rid of my papas—says AzhwAr.

He is a vEda viLakku (known by vEdas and self effulgent) who cut off the thousand arms of bANAsura. He resides as top of the tiruvEngaDa malai. He resides in Sempon Sei kOyil where there are vaidikas who are like tilaka of the southern region. He enjoys seeing the Sree vaiShNavas who come to worship Him.

uLanganindirukkum aDiyavar tangaL

teLinda nAnmaraiyOr nAngai nannaDuvuL

Oh! emberumAn! You are like an ever flowing honey in the minds of adiyArs who call Your names ‘kaLangani vaNNA’ Oh! kaNNa! Oh! endan kArmuhilE!’ and meditate on Your guNas. He resides in Sempon Sei kOyil where clear minded vaidikas live. Thus, who is the very nature of bliss, i worshipped and live purposefully.

teLinda maraiyOr—They are clear minded because they consider Him alone as rakShaka at all times, in all places and at all circumstances.

Those who read and meditate these ten pASuras which tirumangai AzhwAr has sung on emberumAn at Sempon Sei kOyil of tiru nAngoor will certainly rule over this vast BoomaNDala and finally reach paramapada to become one of the nitya sooris.
